Behind the Logo:

The year 2020 and into 2021 will be long-remembered as the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. All of our lives have changed and been dominated to varying degrees by the virus. We sought a logo that would capture this different time. So we did something a little different. Sacramento Graphic Artist Mary Estep took an idea suggested by Dan Airola’s daughter  (“put masks on animals!”) and produced this striking design that captures our serious time, but also maybe brings you a smile. Did we anthropomorphize wildlife too much? Sounds like a good ice-breaker topic for the virtual annual meeting!
